Do all apartments have river views?
Yes, all have river views from balconies and some rooms
Do you have elevators?
No, we are a 3 storey walk-up complex. We may have a ground floor apartment available. Even the ground floor apartments have river views.
Are the apartments air-conditioned?
Most have air-conditioning in the living areas. All have ceiling fans in bedrooms and living areas. We have a lovely sea-breeze that assists with cooling the apartments.
Do you have wheel chair access?
Sorry, no. The ground floor apartments are accessed by 3 steps. The apartments have not been modified for wheel chair access inside.
Do all the rooms have ensuites?
No. All 3 brm apartments do, some 2 brm apartments do. All have 2 toilets.
What do we need to bring?
All apartments are provided with full linen. A starter supply of coffee, tea, milk, soap, shampoo and toilet paper (2 rolls) is provided for your initial night. Dishwashing liquid and dishwashing powder supplied will last a few days. Additional supplies may be purchased from reception during office hours. Bring your beach towels or hire them from reception.
How far away is the surf beach?
5 minute drive
What facilities are near-by?
The Plaza Shopping Centre is a 15 minute walk with shops including Myer and Target, restaurants, cafes and even an English Pub. The Local Convenience store, bakery and bottle shop are a 5 minute walk. The Cotton Tree precinct is a 20 minute walk with an Olympic Swimming Pool Complex, restaurants, cafes and local shopping strip. Swan Boat Hire and Bait shop is a 5 minute stroll along the river. The Maroochy Surf Club and Maroochy RSL are a few minutes drive or catch their courtesy bus directly out the front.
How far away is Australia Zoo?
Approximately 30 minutes drive. A courtesy bus pick up point is approximately 20 minutes walk away.
How far away is Mooloolaba, Noosa and The Eumundi Markets?
Mooloolaba is 10 minutes drive, Noosa is 30 minutes drive, and the markets are 20 minutes away.
Can we walk to restaurants, cafes and the Plaza Shopping Centre?
Yes, the walk is approximately 15 – 20 minutes.
Where can we play golf?
There are several golf courses in the area, including Horton Park in Maroochydore, Headland Park in Buderim and Novotel Twin Waters at Twin Waters Resort.
Where can we fish?
River – directly out front or hire a boat and explore the river mouth. Surf fishing – 5 minutes away at Marocchydore Surf Beach. Off-shore – departs from Mooloolaba
How do you provide for extra guests? Do you have cot hire?
Yes we have cot and high chair hire. Mattresses with linen are provided at an extra cost. Please advise prior to your arrival if you require any of these items.
What about public transport?
The local “Sun Bus” travels on the main road behind us – there are bus stops near-by. The bus travels as for north as Noosa and south to Caloundra.
